Established in 1992, GLOBE (Gay & Lesbian Organisation of Business & Enterprise) has grown from a small social group to a focused and respected organisation for GLBT business and social networking.

GLOBE Membership's base is diverse, and has steadily increased over the last few years and currently stands at 400. Members include both women and men who are business owners, private consultants, employed professionals, students and retirees - everyone with an interest in the business community is welcome.

GLOBE is involved in events such as sponsorship of Midsumma, participating in Pride March and at the Midsumma Carnival. It works to give a public profile to GLBT professionals by having an active presence at GLBT events within our community.

GLOBE also supports changes, which have a positive impact upon our community within the workplace. We are actively involved in fundraising and sponsorship, which support other GLBT community organisations such as Melbourne Marching Girls & Boys and the G&L Switchboard.
