Messenger Guidelines

1. Be respectful

You can make your messages cheeky, sexy and playful but please refrain from being rude, pushy or aggressive. We have zero tolerance for abusive messages, negative comments, prejudice about someone's race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, sexism, or other forms of bigotry.
If you want to politely let members know you're not interested without the hassle of having to rewrite a message every time then the Saved response feature is perfect for this. Just click on the Notepad icon and create a message you want to reuse.

2. You’re in control

If a member is rude or abusive, you have the option to ignore, leave, delete, block or report the conversation at any time. You can do this by pressing on the three dots at the top of the conversation. Reported conversations will be swiftly dealt with by our friendly and supportive Support staff.

3. Make your opening message stand out

Short messages like ‘hey’ or ‘wanna have sex’ might be straight to the point but they generally don’t grab member’s attention. Our advice is to send a longer personal message that shows you’ve taken the time to read their profile and find common interest.

4. Don't send unsolicited content

When sharing photos or videos via Messenger please ensure you have the member’s consent to send intimate content.

5. Don’t spam members

Your initial contact with a member is limited to 3 messages and once the member replies the conversation is unlimited. So make those first messages count.

6. Your ‘Focused’ and ‘Other’ folder

Your Focused folder includes messages from members within your Match Criteria and members you have an ongoing conversation with. Also, messages from members in your Favourites and members you have winked will be delivered to your Focused folder. All other received messages go to your Other folder as well as messages you’ve chosen to ignore.

By continuing to use Messenger you are agreeing to these terms and guidelines.
