Dating coaches will tell you that the way to get someone’s attention is to make eye contact. But that’s not possible on an online dating site, right?
Well we think our Winks feature is the quickest way to get someone’s attention and find out if they’re interested in you!
A Wink is a simple way of showing a member you're interested in chatting to them. and if the member winks back, it gives you the perfect excuse to start a conversation in Messenger. A "mutual wink" icon will appear at the top of the conversation to remind you that the interest was mutual.
The good news is that the Winks are available to both standard and Premium members, although Premium members get more daily winks. And if you are a standard member and you verify your profile we double your daily allocation.

Unlike some other sites you don’t need to be a paying member to see who has winked you. When you login you will see how many Winks you have received on your Home page, and replying or declining is super quick as we display the member’s profile when you view the wink. On your home page you’ll get a reminder about mutual winks for members you haven’t messaged yet. And if you’re not interested you can decline and the member who winked you will get a no thanks message, the wink will move to your Archive folder and the member won’t be able to wink you again.
As always you’re in control! Only the members you've specified you are looking for in your Match Criteria & Contact Filters can wink you but you can adjust your Wink settings at any time. You can limit the number of winks you can receive in a day or even disable the feature. But why would you? If a member replies to your wink then they’re as keen as you are.
